Week 3, 2009b - finally...
1st ($45 / 10pts): Paul S
2nd ($10/ 7pts): Aaron W
3rd ($0 / 4pts): Adam J
4th ($0 / 2pts): Julie B
Low Stakes / 8 Players / 1 Table / 1230 Endtime
well, well, well...i finally got lucky and was able to slay the beast that is aaron. don't really know how (actually, i was anointed by the card gods and really was dealt some pretty good and lucky hands).
the first part of the game was kinda blurry but the final four came down to me, aaron, adam and julie b. aaron was mortally wounded near the beginning, but made a major comeback and had the table pretty much leaning towards him. julie played valiantly to the end even with the bad cards she was getting she was still able to make it to the end without having to rebuy. next was adam who played his usual dominating style. i believe he took a stab at aaron but was unable to catch. now, it was me and the big stack. he had me out chipped by at least 6 or 7 times. it took several hands but i manage to finally take him out. hopefully this wasn't a fluke and i'll be writing more blogs in the future.
