Low Stakes / 10 Players / 1 Table / 12:30am Endtime

As always, the Gnomes end up with all of the money.

Tonight's theme was "Yelling a Lot." Good times. Although the yelling continued, it should be noted that the overall volume dropped precipitously when Eric left. Funny, that.

The tone of the evening was set early on, when Eric pushed Mick and Lee off of a big pre-flop hand with an all-in. Lee folded Qs, Mick folded 9s, and Eric won the hand. The fact that he was second bests pre-flop and both other players got sets (Mick on the flop, Lee on the turn) only served to make the table angry. Lee's every action after that was punctuated with "because Eric is a faggot" - as in "I'm folding because..." "I'm calling because..." and "I am thinking about anal sex with Eric because..."

Speaking of which, the other theme for the night was Mick's new million-dollar website idea. I won't give away the details here, for fear that she'd sue me, but I'll give you a hint - the "speaking of which" I mentioned above has to do with "anal sex." Apparently, some people make money with that on the intarwebz.

Back to poker: Eric was first out, followed quickly by Ken, Lee and Martin. Jen played her usual, hyper-tight style, but apparently got no cards all night, and fell next. Margaret also never got enough chips to get anything going, and bled out. We entered the final four with Randy in a slight lead over me and Mick, with Adam the small stack.

Mick fell to Randy and turned him into a big-stack monster (easily twice my stack at that point). Unfortunately for Randy, bad things happen to good people. I misread him terribly and pushed $50k all-in with big slick after a flop of J-x-x. Randy thought about it for a bit (did I have pocket As? Ks? Qs?), then made the right call with his top-pair/top-kicker AJ. Suck-out of the century came on the turn, and my K hit. Randy was crippled, but still at about $50k.

Unfortunately, the brutality of that hand maybe put Randy a bit on tilt. He pushed all-in soon after with A2 unsuited. I called with A10, and entered heads-up with a ginormous chip-lead over Adam.

Adam managed to double-up once, but the blinds were high enough that I bled him back with some old-school big-stack aggression. He finally had to go all-in at an inopportune time, and the night was mine.

I am very thankful that Mark has moved to California. Miss you, Mark!

While it was not the brightest all-in of my career, my A-2 was actually suited (clubs). Only problem? No clubs in the flop. Last time I looked, that meant no flush coming.

Math is hard. Even when you only have to count to 5. Which is why I'm in music, which is non math-bas..., uh, which is why I only have to count to 4. Except in Yes tunes.

I am so fucked.
