I hadn't taken first place in the last three attempts at Mc Jos. Was beginning to think maybe I was losing my touch. I missed you 1st place. Lets never fight again.

This game had a furious amount of all ins during the first few rounds with Adam set flopping his way into a massive chip stack lead.

Adam crippled me mid game with the following hand:

Adam: 8h6h
Mark: AxJh
Board - Ah7h8c/9h/5h

This is the second time in the last week I've pushed big reraises post flop with the upper hand and fallen to straight flushes.

But patient play is the key to poker. Wait long enough and karma will swing back and smite your enemies.

Everyone all in post flop.

Because Aaron was small stack, and I was close to Adam, I came out with only a few scratches. And to show how cruel the poker gods can be, Adam went all in blind the next hand with his remaining ~5k and tripled up with rockets.
