Ken's Top 10 Reasons On Why Wednesday Was a REALLY Shitty Night.
For me and Jen (and I suspect Eric too), the fun didn't get started UNTIL after we left Adam's. Here are my top 10 reasons why I had such a crappy Wednesday night:
10. Getting paged out of the middle of winning streak (a rare thing in itself for me) only to spend two hours at work for a whole lot of 'nuttin.
9. Listening to my wife gloat how she finished in the points ahead of me
8. Putting the City Manager on hold while I finish playing a hand
7. I get back only to play TWO hands before busting out.
6. Having to deal for TWO hours
5. Returning to work to find my car dented from baseball sized hail (Jen's car was damaged too at the house)
4. Having to work on just on storm response with just two hours of sleep. I wound up going straight back after dropping off Jen at the dark, powerless house.
3. Listening to the dealer DRONE on, "Any fuckin' day now...." Or "...that's the third time I've had to tell you to put out your blind..." Oh wait, that was me .. never mind.
2. Coming home to find your house w/o power and your yard full of broken tree limbs and baseball sized hail. (we didn't get our power back on until Friday)
1. Missing out on cashing in at the Bank of Martin. However getting back in time to see him leave in tears was a highlight.
