Week 15

1st ($ / 10pts): Lee "Drought Ends" Nichols
2nd ($0/ 7pts): Martin "Hang Up the Phone" Galway
3rd ($0 / 4pts): Ray "Good Neighbor" Flowers
4th ($0 / 2pts): Margaret "I'm Tired" Bridgeman

Low Stakes / 6 Players / 1 Table / 12:10 Endtime

Finally, some rain. I can't remember my last victory, but I know I didn't collect a single one last season, after winning three the year before. So probably been almost two years now. (EDIT: I went back and looked it up. This was my first win since Feb. 27, 2007. And I was wrong, that three-win season was way back in 2005. How can it be that my first season, when I supposedly didn't know @#$% about poker, was my best?)

After almost canceling for lack of a quorum, we moved the game from Chez Flowers to Chez Bridgichols a few blocks up the street and roped Margaret into the game.

The Bates family went out first, the victim of Galway the Merciless. Lee then took out his lovely wife when his KQ hit a Q and took out Margaret's 6-6. KQ was deadly again when Martin hit a KQQ flop, destroying Ray and wounding Lee.

But Lee fought back until he was slightly over Martin, 58K to 52K. Lee decided to raise with his K9, Martin re-raised, Lee called all-in, and Martin, sitting on a pair of ladies, called. Right call at the wrong time: Lee hit a K on the flop and got another on fourth street for good measure.

But the real highlight: Mick and Adam brought over the baby!
