So under any other circumstance this would be the moment when we would all collectively cheer that Mark Y (the winning machine) and Dallas D (the big money dominator) had both finally lost. Yea!...
Unfortunately coming from me - the third "most desired to die a fiery death" player in the league - this is little solace. But like a savvy politician I will now attempt to redirect any ire from myself. Let me point out that I am far from the most dominating player we've had (in the areas where I am doing well this year). Back in '06 Ray F finished the season with an astounding 210 points and $1,255 in earnings. Despise him, revile him!! Not me... I'm your buddy!
Anyway on to the re-cap. We were visited by two new players as referred by Martin G. Amber H who scared the crap out of us by playing super-tight, super-aggressive. I don't recommend calling her pre-flop unless you are fairly prepared to call her All In after the flop! And Wayne R who scared the crap out of the inanimate items living in our home. We are looking into training wheels for chairs, and clearing a 10 foot circle of any breakable objects for him for next week.
Play was notable for the scarcity of bad beats and for an early train-wreck of a hand. All I specifically remember was that the flop was all spades. As for how it played out, it would have taken a remarkable amount of guile for Eric H (who went All In on the turn with his Top Two, Aces & Tens) and Ray F (who called with a solid made straight), to get away from my nut flush.
The rest of the night was fairly solid poker. And there's no denying that pulling Bullets three times in the evening definitely made my run easier.
But back to Ray F - he sucks doesn't he?!

Note: I'm not 100% on being able to come back for the tournament due to potential training schedule conflicts.
